Our helpline numbers and what each is for

Char Dham Trip is a private travel company in New Delhi. These are our only numbers. We list them in one place so that you can save them before your journey and check any call or message that claims to come from us.

Calling before you book

Most people who ring the helpline for the first time have three questions: how much will it cost, how many days will it take, and can our elders manage Kedarnath. Having a few details ready makes the call short and the quote accurate.

• Your month of travel and how flexible the dates are.
• Number of travellers, with ages of children and anyone above 60.
• Which shrines: all four, the Do Dham, the Teen Dham or only Kedarnath.
• Starting city, and whether you need road pickup from home or will reach Delhi or Haridwar yourself.
• Hotel level and vehicle preference: sedan, Innova Crysta or Tempo Traveller.

Using the helpline during your yatra

Once you are on the road, your driver handles most day-to-day questions. Call the helpline when something needs a decision from our side.

Mobile signal is patchy on the Kedarnath trek, beyond Uttarkashi towards Gangotri and around Mana. If we cannot be reached for an hour or two, try WhatsApp; messages go through as soon as signal returns.

Official channels we are not

Searching for a "Char Dham helpline" often brings up a mix of official and private numbers. It helps to know which body handles what, so you call the right place.

• Yatra registration: handled by Uttarakhand Tourism through registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in and the Tourist Care Uttarakhand app. Use the help options listed there. Our registration guide explains the steps.
• Kedarnath shuttle helicopter tickets: sold only on the IRCTC HeliYatra portal, heliyatra.irctc.co.in. No agent, including us, can sell these seats. See IRCTC helicopter booking.
• Temple timings, puja and darshan: managed by the temple committees at each shrine.
• Emergencies: India's national emergency number 112, and local police and health posts along the route.

How to spot a fake yatra helpline

Every season, pilgrims lose money to fake websites and phone numbers that promise Kedarnath helicopter tickets, VIP darshan or "confirmed" registration. Some even copy the names of real companies. A few simple checks will protect you.

1. Check the number. Our only numbers are the three listed on this page. Anything else using our name is not us.
2. Never pay for helicopter shuttle tickets outside IRCTC. Genuine shuttle seats are booked only on heliyatra.irctc.co.in after registration.
3. Never pay for registration. It is free on the official portal and app.
4. Ask for a written itinerary and quote before paying any advance. A real operator will send one without pressure.
5. Be wary of urgency. "Only two seats left, pay in ten minutes" is a classic scam line.
6. Call back on a number from the website. If someone contacts you first, hang up and call +91-99111 77951 to check.
