Char Dham Yatra Package from Jaipur 2027

Why Jaipur pilgrims start in Delhi

Unlike pilgrims from the far south or east, a Jaipur family does not need a long train journey or a flight to reach the Himalaya. Delhi is about 280 km away, roughly five hours by road or rail, and that is where our Char Dham package from Delhi begins. Many Jaipur groups take an early train or a bus, meet the driver at a Delhi station by midday, and are in Haridwar for the evening aarti.

Haridwar itself is around 480 km from Jaipur, a little beyond the distance we usually cover on a pick-up day. If your group prefers to be collected from home, we can send the vehicle to Jaipur and quote the extra distance and night separately. Either way, the mountain part of the yatra is identical: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath in that traditional west-to-east order.

Tips for travellers from Rajasthan

Pack for cold, not for Jaipur

Even in June, nights at Kedarnath and Badrinath fall close to zero. Bring thermals, a warm jacket, woollen socks, a cap and gloves. Our packing list covers the rest.

Food on the route

Hotels serve simple vegetarian North Indian meals. Onion and garlic are often avoided near the shrines. Carry dry snacks from home for long driving days.

Register before you leave Jaipur

The yatra registration is free and compulsory, and the QR code is checked on the way. Our registration guide walks through it.

Kedarnath helicopter

Shuttle seats from Phata, Sersi and Guptkashi are sold only on the IRCTC HeliYatra portal. Ignore websites or callers offering confirmed tickets for a fee.
