Char Dham by Innova Crysta
- Room for six with luggage
- Comfortable on long hill days
- Delhi station pick-up
Gwalior is close enough to Delhi that you do not need an overnight journey. Catch an early train, have lunch on the road to Haridwar, and the yatra has already begun.
Most cities in Madhya Pradesh are a night's train ride from Delhi. Gwalior is different: at roughly 320 km, it is only a few hours away on the main rail line. That changes the plan. Instead of losing a night to travel, Gwalior families can leave home after an early breakfast, reach Delhi by late morning, and be in Haridwar for the evening aarti the same day.
The trip then follows our Char Dham Yatra package from Delhi: 11 nights and 12 days covering Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath, with hotels, breakfast, dinner and one private vehicle and driver throughout. Gwalior is about 530 km from Haridwar, so a direct road pick-up from home is possible on request, but the train is usually faster and cheaper.
Gwalior sits on the busy Delhi–Bhopal–Mumbai line, with many fast trains to Delhi. Pick one that reaches Hazrat Nizamuddin or New Delhi by about 10–11 am. Our driver collects you at the station and heads straight for Haridwar, stopping for lunch on the way.
If your group prefers not to change vehicles, we can quote a road pick-up from Gwalior. The drive to Haridwar via Agra and the Yamuna Expressway is long, so we break it with an overnight halt and the trip grows by one day. This suits groups with lots of luggage or very elderly members.
Gwalior airport has a small number of flights. For most families the train is simpler, but if you are coming from elsewhere, see the Char Dham by air guide.
