Three of the four great shrines, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath, in five days from Dehradun. Nights at Harsil, Guptkashi and Badrinath, with the long mountain drives replaced by short flights.
By road, the Teen Dham Yatra of Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath takes 7 nights from Haridwar, with several 8–9 hour drives across ridges such as the Uttarkashi–Guptkashi crossing. The helicopter version compresses the same pilgrimage into 4 nights and 5 days, starting and ending at the Sahastradhara helipad in Dehradun. You still spend real time at each shrine and sleep in the mountains, but the road days disappear.
Why these three? Gangotri is the source shrine of the Ganga, Kedarnath is the highest Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva and Badrinath is the abode of Lord Vishnu, so together they span the main traditions of the yatra. Yamunotri, with its unavoidable 6 km walk from Janki Chatti, is the one most often left out. Some pilgrims prefer Yamunotri, Gangotri and Kedarnath instead; tell us and we will price that version.

Is the extra night worth it over the Do Dham helicopter yatra? If Gangotri matters to you, yes: reaching it by road from the Kedarnath side means two long days through Uttarkashi. And if you are tempted to go one step further, the full Char Dham helicopter yatra from Dehradun adds Yamunotri with a night at Kharsali for about ₹40,000 more per person. For a cost-conscious family, the road Teen Dham package from Haridwar remains excellent value, with Kedarnath shuttle seats used where available.

Planning tips
Pick your dates after the temples open. Gangotri usually opens on Akshaya Tritiya; Kedarnath and Badrinath dates are announced on Mahashivratri and Basant Panchami. Watch the opening dates.
Pack light. Each flight has a baggage limit set by the operator; keep one soft bag per person.
Dress warm. All three shrines are above 3,000 m.
Keep a spare half day at the end in case weather delays the last flight.

Teen Dham helicopter yatra: FAQ
Which three dhams are covered?
Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. If you would rather visit Yamunotri, Gangotri and Kedarnath, ask us for that version.
What is the Teen Dham helicopter price for 2027?
From about ₹1,75,000 per person for 4 nights and 5 days from Dehradun (2027 estimate). The final quote depends on dates, aircraft and group size.
How do I reach Kedarnath on this package?
By the shuttle from the Guptkashi area helipads. Shuttle seats are sold only on IRCTC HeliYatra, and we plan the dates around them and help you book.
Is Gangotri reached directly by helicopter?
The helicopter lands at Harsil, about 25 km below Gangotri, and a vehicle takes you to the temple and back.
Can elderly pilgrims manage this yatra?
Yes, it is one of the least tiring ways to see three shrines. There are short walks at each temple and the altitude is above 3,000 m, so a medical check-up is advised.
How is this different from the road Teen Dham?
The road trip takes 7N/8D from Haridwar and costs from ₹17,500 per person. The helicopter saves about three days and most of the driving.
What happens if weather delays a flight?
Flights wait for safe conditions. The programme shifts as needed; extra nights caused by weather are charged separately.
