Load the car in Ludhiana, and by evening you are in Haridwar. Our road package from Punjab's biggest city covers all four dhams with the same vehicle and driver from your gate and back.
Ask a Ludhiana family how they want to do the Char Dham, and most will say: by car, from home. It makes sense. Haridwar is roughly 300 km away along the Ambala–Yamunanagar–Saharanpur road, a six-to-seven-hour drive, so there is no need for trains, airports or station transfers. The city is well inside the range where we start the tour at your door.
The package runs for 11 nights and 12 days. Day 1 is the drive to Haridwar, days 2 to 11 follow the classic circuit of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath, and day 12 brings you home. If you would rather reach Haridwar yourselves, our standard Char Dham package from Haridwar is two days shorter.

Picking the right trip for your family
Not every Ludhiana group needs the full twelve days. Here is how families usually decide:
All four dhams, comfortable pace: the 11N/12D road package on this page. Ask for a rest day at Guptkashi if elders are travelling.
Kedarnath and Badrinath only: a Do Dham Yatra, which saves about four days.
Three shrines: the Teen Dham Yatra drops Yamunotri and its trek.
Better hotels throughout: upgrade to our deluxe packages for better-rated rooms and views.
Limited mobility: a Char Dham helicopter yatra from Dehradun takes six days, and we can drive you from Ludhiana to the helipad.

Road-trip tips for Ludhiana families
Let the hill driver drive. Mountain roads need local experience; we do not recommend self-driving your own car for the full circuit.
Luggage. One medium bag per person keeps the car comfortable; a roof carrier helps in a Tempo Traveller.
