Ek Dham Yatra Package from Ahmedabad 2027

One dham, one week, from Amdavad

Ahmedabad is about 950 km from Delhi, close enough that an overnight train does the hard work while you sleep. That makes a single-dham yatra very practical for Gujarati families: one night on the train, four nights in the mountains, and one night back. Many choose Badrinath because the whole journey is by road and suits every age; younger groups often prefer Kedarnath and its trek.

Our package begins in Delhi, where the driver meets your train or flight. Prefer to fly further? A flight to Dehradun lets you join the shorter 3N/4D plan from Haridwar from ₹8,500. See also our dedicated Badrinath package from Ahmedabad and Kedarnath package from Ahmedabad.

Book train berths as soon as the reservation window opens for May and June, which coincide with Gujarat's school holidays. Elders usually find a lower berth on an overnight train less tiring than an early flight plus airport waits. Our train guide explains how to time arrivals.

Itineraries from Delhi

Both plans below assume you reach Delhi early on day 1, which is what an overnight train from Ahmedabad usually allows. If your train arrives late in the afternoon, we simply spend the first night in Delhi or drive to Haridwar after dark on the flat expressway and start the hill section the next morning as normal. The Badrinath plan is listed first because it is the one most families from Ahmedabad ask us about; the Kedarnath plan follows. Both have the same number of nights and both finish back in Delhi.

Tips for Gujarati families

  • Cold-weather clothing. Ahmedabad rarely sees single digits; Badrinath and Kedarnath mornings are near zero. See things to carry.
  • Registration is free and mandatory for every pilgrim; follow our registration guide.
  • Kedarnath helicopter shuttle tickets are sold only on the IRCTC HeliYatra portal. We help you prepare but cannot sell them; read the IRCTC guide.
  • Medical check. Elders with heart or breathing issues should see a doctor before travelling to 3,000 m and above.
  • Best months. Late May to June, or mid-September to October. Avoid July and August.
