Char Dham Yatra Fixed Departure Tour 2027

How a fixed departure works

A fixed departure is a group trip with a published start date. Instead of hiring a private car for your family, you buy individual seats in a shared vehicle that leaves Haridwar on that date with other pilgrims. Everyone follows the same 9-night route, stays in the same hotels and eats together at breakfast and dinner. The cost of the vehicle and driver is split across the whole group, which is why a seat costs less than a private trip for one or two people.

For a solo pilgrim, a private car for ten days is expensive; even a couple pays about ₹27,500 each. A seat on the group tour costs about ₹18,500, and you also gain company on the trails. Many of our fixed-departure guests are retired couples, single travellers and small groups of friends who are happy to travel at the group's pace.

Departure dates

Group departures are planned through the season, with more of them in May, June, September and October. Exact dates for 2027 are fixed once the temple opening dates are announced (Badrinath on Basant Panchami, Kedarnath on Mahashivratri). Call or WhatsApp us to be added to the list for the month you want. You can follow announcements on our opening dates page.

Tip: departures in the second half of September and early October usually have smaller groups, clearer skies and easier hotel availability.
