Ghaziabad lies on the Haridwar side of the capital, so your first day is the shortest in NCR. Here is the full plan, and an honest look at what a family of four actually spends.
Whether you live in Indirapuram, Vaishali, Raj Nagar Extension or Crossings Republik, the road to the Himalaya leaves from almost your doorstep. The highway through Meerut and Muzaffarnagar runs straight to Haridwar, about 190 km away. That means no airport, no railway station and no early-morning cab across Delhi: the yatra car simply picks you up at home.
The package is the same 11-night, 12-day circuit as the Char Dham Yatra from Delhi and costs the same. Because Day 1 is shorter, you usually reach Haridwar by early afternoon, which leaves time for a relaxed evening at Har Ki Pauri before the mountain days begin.

Not ready for twelve days? Shorter yatras from Ghaziabad
Plenty of Ghaziabad families split the four dhams across two trips, or start with the shrine that matters most to them. Because the drive to Haridwar is short, even a five-day plan leaves real time at the temple rather than on the road.
Pack properly. Woollens, rain gear and medicines; see things to carry.
Respect the mountains. Follow our do's and don'ts: early starts, no littering, and patience on narrow roads.

Char Dham Yatra from Ghaziabad: FAQ
Is home pick-up included for Ghaziabad?
Yes. Ghaziabad is in our Delhi NCR pick-up area, and pick-up and drop at your address are included.
How much does the Char Dham Yatra cost from Ghaziabad?
From about ₹24,500 per person on budget hotels for four people, ₹35,500 deluxe and ₹53,500 luxury. Add pony, jeep and personal costs. 2027 estimates.
How long is the drive from Ghaziabad to Haridwar?
About 190 km, typically five to six hours via Meerut and Muzaffarnagar.
Can we take our own car?
Hill roads are demanding, and we recommend a local hill driver. See Char Dham Yatra by car for our vehicle-with-driver options.
Can we finish the four dhams over two years?
Yes. Many guests do Kedarnath and Badrinath one year and Gangotri and Yamunotri the next. The combined cost is a little higher than a single Char Dham trip because Day 1 and the return are repeated.
Is there a Tempo Traveller option for a big family?
Yes. A 12-seat Tempo works well for 10–12 people and reduces the per-person cost.
