Every price on this page is a 2027 estimate per person, for 9 nights and 10 days starting and ending in Haridwar, unless stated otherwise. The final quote depends on your travel dates, the hotels free on those dates and how many people share the vehicle. Rishikesh and Dehradun starts cost the same.

How group size changes the price
The vehicle and driver are a fixed cost for the trip, so the per-person price falls as more people share them, until a bigger vehicle is needed.

Hotel rates in the hills rise sharply with altitude. A plain room at Kedarnath costs roughly ₹2,500–6,000 a night, against ₹1,500–4,500 around Barkot. That is why the Kedarnath night is the most expensive part of any package; see Kedarnath hotel booking.

If the two elders fly by helicopter instead of riding ponies, budget about ₹13,000 for their Phata round trips at the 2026 fare. Travel to Haridwar is extra; many families come by overnight train, as explained on our Char Dham by train page.

Pick-up in Haridwar and a scenic drive via Mussoorie into the Yamuna valley. The first of nine hotel nights is at Barkot. Dinner is part of the package, and the driver briefs you on the next day's timings.
Day 2
Yamunotri day trip

The vehicle takes you to Janki Chatti, the last road point. From here the 6 km path to Yamunotri is on foot or by pony, palki or pithoo at your own cost. After darshan and a dip at the hot springs, return to the same hotel in Barkot.

Barkot to Uttarkashi

A short transfer into the Bhagirathi valley. Arrive by lunchtime, with time to visit Kashi Vishwanath temple. Hotel and dinner are included.
Day 4
Gangotri

A return drive to Gangotri through Harsil, with a stop at the Gangnani hot spring. No trek or extra transport is needed, so this dham adds no on-the-spot costs. Back to Uttarkashi for the night.

The longest drive, via Tehri and Srinagar, then up the Mandakini. Hotels here range from roughly ₹2,000 to ₹6,500 a room, which is reflected in the category you choose. Early dinner and rest.

Drive to Sonprayag, pay the small shared-jeep fare to Gaurikund and start the trek. Pony and palki charges, if used, are paid here. The night at Kedarnath, in basic accommodation, is included.

Darshan, return to Guptkashi

Early darshan of Kedarnath, then the descent to Gaurikund and the jeep to Sonprayag. The vehicle is waiting at Sonprayag and brings you back to the hotel. Dinner and the night's stay are covered.

Guptkashi to Badrinath

Drive across via Ukhimath and Chopta and up the Alaknanda past Joshimath. Badrinath rooms cost roughly ₹2,000–8,000 depending on category and distance from the temple. Evening aarti.

What is the Char Dham Yatra package price from Haridwar for 2027?
Estimated from ₹21,500 per person on budget hotels, ₹32,500 on deluxe and ₹49,500 on luxury, for a group of four on a 9 nights / 10 days trip.
Why does the price differ for 2, 4 and 6 people?
The vehicle costs the same however many sit in it. Two people pay about ₹27,500 each, four pay ₹21,500, and six pay about ₹22,000 because a larger Innova Crysta is needed.
Is the price from Delhi higher?
Yes. The Char Dham package from Delhi is 11 nights / 12 days and starts at about ₹24,500 per person, because of two extra days and a Haridwar night.
Does the price include the Kedarnath helicopter?
No. Shuttle tickets are booked only on IRCTC HeliYatra. The Phata round trip was ₹6,500 per person in 2026.
Are there hidden charges?
No. Your quote lists every exclusion. The usual extras are ponies or palkis, the Gaurikund jeep, lunches and any extra night caused by landslides.
Will the price change for October travel?
Prices depend on dates and hotel availability. Late September and October are often easier to book than peak May–June; see the best time to visit.
Can I pay less by choosing fewer dhams?
Yes. The Do Dham package for Kedarnath and Badrinath starts at about ₹13,500 from Haridwar, and Teen Dham at about ₹17,500.
