Char Dham Yatra Package from Amravati 2027

The plan in brief

This page is for Amravati in Vidarbha, Maharashtra, home of the Ambadevi temple. (If you live in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, our Vijayawada page is the better fit.) From Amravati, Delhi is about 1,150 km away. Badnera Junction, a few kilometres from the city, sits on a busy main line, and Nagpur's airport is around two and a half to three hours' drive east.

Our package begins in Delhi, so your only job is to get there. A private car with a hill driver then takes you to Haridwar and on to Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. Twelve days later it drops you back in Delhi for the journey home.

Three ways to start from Amravati

  1. Train from Badnera. Several long-distance trains towards Delhi stop at Badnera; some need a change at Nagpur, Itarsi or Bhopal. Book early for May–June. Read our train guide.
  2. Road to Nagpur, fly to Delhi. The fastest option. Leave Amravati in the morning and reach Delhi by evening. See the flight guide.
  3. Fly Nagpur to Dehradun via a connection. Then join our 9N/10D plan from Haridwar, which saves two days on the road.
Whichever you choose, aim to arrive the evening before day 1. Overnight rest in Delhi makes the first mountain drive much easier.

  • Register early. Free and compulsory; our registration guide shows how.
  • Go in season. May–June or mid-September to October. In 2027 the dates will be announced in spring; see opening dates.
  • Plan for Kedarnath helicopter booking on IRCTC HeliYatra if elders cannot trek; read the helicopter guide.
