Char Dham Yatra Luxury Package 2027

What luxury means in the high Himalaya

Let us be clear from the start: Uttarakhand's shrine towns are not resort destinations. Barkot, Guptkashi and Badrinath have a handful of genuinely good hotels each, and Kedarnath, at 3,583 m, has only simple guest houses and tents. A luxury Char Dham package therefore means booking the very best available room at every stop, well ahead of the season, so that you get the views, the heating, the hot water and the quiet that are in short supply in May and June.

Beyond the rooms, luxury guests get all meals included rather than just breakfast and dinner, an Innova Crysta as standard, and flexible pacing: we happily add a rest night at Guptkashi or a slower day at Harsil if it helps. Many luxury guests also combine the road journey with helicopter flights; both options are explained below.

Adding helicopter flights

Two kinds of flights pair well with a luxury road trip:

  • Kedarnath shuttle (from Phata, Sersi or Guptkashi). Saves the 16 km trek each way. Tickets are sold only on the IRCTC HeliYatra portal after registration; the Phata round trip was ₹6,500 per person in 2026. We do not sell shuttle seats, but we help you prepare for the booking window and fit the plan around your slot. See IRCTC Kedarnath booking.
  • Private charter. Replace the road trip entirely with the Char Dham helicopter yatra: 5N/6D from Dehradun at about ₹2,15,000 per person, or ₹2,20,000 with Delhi transfers.
  • Watch out for fake sites. Any website or caller offering Kedarnath shuttle tickets outside IRCTC is not genuine.
