Char Dham Yatra Package from Howrah 2027

From the Hooghly to the source of the Ganga

The river beside Howrah station is a branch of the Ganga on its last stretch to the sea. The Char Dham Yatra takes you to the other end, to Gangotri, where the Bhagirathi flows out of the glaciers, and on to Yamunotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. For Bengali families, who have long made the journey to Haridwar and Kashi, it is the natural next pilgrimage.

Howrah is about 1,500 km from Haridwar by rail. What makes it convenient is that a few long-distance trains from Howrah run through to Haridwar and Dehradun, so there is no change at Delhi. The journey takes well over a day, and you step off in the town where the yatra begins. From there our Char Dham package from Haridwar covers the circuit in 9 nights and 10 days.
