Kedarnath from Delhi
- Haridwar, Guptkashi, Kedarnath nights
- Srinagar Garhwal on the way back
- NCR pick-up and drop
Leave your Delhi doorstep on a Thursday morning and be back by Monday night with darshan of Kedarnath or Badrinath. Five days, one car, one dham.
For most of north India, the road to the Himalayan shrines begins in Delhi. Haridwar is about 230 km away, six to seven hours by car, and from there the mountain roads branch off to each dham. That makes a single-dham yatra from Delhi one of the most practical pilgrimages in the country: you need no flight, no overnight train and only five days of leave.
We pick you up from your home, hotel, railway station or airport anywhere in Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad or Ghaziabad, and drop you back at the same place. The first night is spent in Haridwar so that the long mountain drive starts fresh the next morning. You choose the shrine: Kedarnath for the Jyotirlinga and the trek, or Badrinath for a road-accessible darshan that suits elders.
Prices are per person for four travellers sharing one car and twin or triple rooms. The vehicle is with you for all five days, so the per-head cost falls as the group grows.

The car arrives at your door early to beat the city traffic. You cross Meerut and Roorkee on the expressway and reach Haridwar by early afternoon. Check in, rest, and walk to Har Ki Pauri for the evening Ganga aarti, a fitting start to the yatra.
Today the hills begin in earnest. The road runs past Rishikesh to the Devprayag confluence and on to Rudraprayag, where you leave the Alaknanda for the Mandakini valley. Guptkashi sits on a slope above the river and is a quiet place to sleep before the climb.
Drive to Sonprayag and take the shared jeep to Gaurikund. The paved trail climbs steadily along the river; most walkers take six to eight hours, while ponies and palkis are faster. Shuttle passengers fly from Phata, Sersi or Guptkashi. Evening aarti at the temple, then a night at 3,583 m.
Take early-morning darshan of the Jyotirlinga and visit the Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi. Walk or ride back down to Gaurikund, cross to Sonprayag by jeep and meet your driver. A late afternoon drive brings you to Rudraprayag or Srinagar Garhwal for the night.
Start early and come down through Devprayag and Rishikesh to the plains. After a lunch stop near Haridwar, the car continues to Delhi. You are dropped home in the evening, usually between 7 and 10 pm depending on traffic.
Morning pick-up in Delhi NCR and an easy drive to Haridwar. In the evening join the crowds at Har Ki Pauri for aarti and an early dinner, because tomorrow starts before dawn.
The longest drive of the trip follows the Alaknanda past Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag and Nandprayag. Short tea stops break up the day. Joshimath, the winter town of Badrinath's priests, is the night halt.
Drive up the gorge to Badrinath, bathe in the Tapt Kund and take darshan of Badri Narayan. After lunch, visit Mana village with its Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa and Bhim Pul. The evening aarti closes a full day at the temple.
An optional second darshan, or rites for ancestors at Brahma Kapal, before breakfast. Then descend the Alaknanda valley to Srinagar Garhwal, breaking the return so that the last day is manageable.
Down through Devprayag and Rishikesh to Haridwar, then the expressway to Delhi. You reach home by evening with the yatra complete.
