From the Aravalli hills and the sacred lake of Pushkar to the snows of Garhwal. A day's travel brings you to Delhi, and our car handles the rest of the pilgrimage.
Ajmer is around 400 km south-west of Delhi, and Haridwar is another 230 km beyond the capital, which puts the gateway to the Char Dham roughly 620 km from your home. That is too far for a comfortable one-day drive into the mountains, so the plan splits neatly in two: reach Delhi by train or road, then join our private road package that starts and ends there.
Ajmer Junction has several trains a day to Delhi, both daytime and overnight, taking roughly six to nine hours. Buses and taxis cover the expressway in about seven hours. The closest major airport is Jaipur, about 135 km away; Kishangarh airport is nearer but has few flights. Once in Delhi, the car takes you to Haridwar and onward to Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath.
Many devotees from the Pushkar side see a pleasing symmetry: having worshipped at the rare temple of Lord Brahma, they complete the trinity with Vishnu at Badrinath and Shiva at Kedarnath.

Dry heat to cold damp. Ajmer's dry climate is very different from the moist Himalaya. Pack waterproofs as well as woollens. Full packing list.
Prepare for the walks. Yamunotri is 6 km each way and Kedarnath 16 km; daily walking for a month helps.
Keep a spare day in your return booking in case a landslide delays the drive.

Char Dham Yatra from Ajmer: FAQ
How do I reach the Char Dham from Ajmer?
Travel to Delhi by train (6–9 hours), bus or taxi. Our vehicle picks you up in Delhi on day 1 and drives you to Haridwar and the four dhams.
What does the Char Dham Yatra from Ajmer cost?
The Delhi-to-Delhi package starts at about ₹24,500 per person in budget hotels for four people, ₹35,500 in deluxe and ₹53,500 in luxury. Ajmer–Delhi travel is extra. All prices are 2027 estimates.
Can you pick us up directly from Ajmer?
Ajmer is about 620 km from Haridwar, so we normally start in Delhi. If you want a car from Ajmer, ask us and we will quote the extra distance and night separately.
Is the yatra suitable for elders from Ajmer?
Yes, with planning. Gangotri and Badrinath are reached by road; Yamunotri and Kedarnath by pony, palki or the IRCTC shuttle helicopter. A doctor's check-up before travel is wise.
Where can I buy Kedarnath helicopter tickets?
Only on the IRCTC HeliYatra portal (heliyatra.irctc.co.in), after yatra registration. We do not sell shuttle tickets, but we help with the process. Beware of fake websites.
Which is the best time to go from Rajasthan?
May–June, when it is very hot at home, or October, when the mountains are clear and quiet. Avoid July and August.
Can we do only two dhams?
Yes. The Do Dham Yatra covers Kedarnath and Badrinath in 6N/7D from Delhi, from ₹15,500 per person.
