Char Dham Yatra Package from Prayagraj (Allahabad) 2027
Prayagraj is the meeting of rivers on the plains; Garhwal has five more such meetings on the way to Badrinath. This yatra takes you from the Sangam to the source of the Ganga and the shrines above it.
Families from Prayagraj grow up beside the Triveni Sangam, so the Char Dham route holds a particular fascination: the rivers that will eventually pass your city are born in these mountains. Gangotri marks the origin of the Bhagirathi, and Yamunotri the source of the Yamuna. On the drive to Badrinath you pass Vishnuprayag, Nandprayag, Karnaprayag, Rudraprayag and Devprayag, the five confluences of the Alaknanda that pilgrims call the Panch Prayag.
Getting there is simple. Prayagraj is about 680 km from Delhi, with overnight trains taking roughly 9–12 hours and direct flights from Prayagraj airport taking about an hour and a half. Our road package starts in Delhi: the car meets you on day 1 and completes the circuit of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath before bringing you back. Some trains also run towards Haridwar or Dehradun; if one suits you, start with the Haridwar package instead.

Devprayag is the one most Prayagraj pilgrims want to stand at: it is where the Ganga takes its name, the river that later meets the Yamuna at your own Sangam. Our drivers stop there on the way back so you can walk down to the ghat. See the route map for where each prayag sits.

Tips from experience
Bring containers for Gangajal. Sealed plastic cans are sold at Gangotri, but carrying your own is easier.
Mind the season. Prayagraj's summer heat makes May–June tempting, but those are the busiest months. Mid-September to October is quieter. Avoid July–August. See best time to visit.
Register before you travel. Free and mandatory for all; see the registration guide.
Pack for altitude. Kedarnath is at 3,583 m. Carry warm layers and read our packing list.
Helicopter tickets for Kedarnath are sold only on IRCTC HeliYatra. Read the IRCTC booking guide.
