From Kutch to the Dangs, Gujarat sends pilgrims north every summer. This page shows how each part of the state reaches the Himalaya and which single dham fits your group.
Gujarat is a long way from Uttarakhand, roughly 950 to 1,400 km from Delhi depending on where you live, but the state is unusually well connected to the north. Several long-distance trains run from Gujarat towards Delhi every day, a few continue to Haridwar and Dehradun, and the larger airports have flights to Delhi. That makes the Ek Dham Yatra a realistic one-week pilgrimage from almost any Gujarati town.
We run the yatra itself from Haridwar (3 nights / 4 days) or Delhi (4 nights / 5 days). You choose the shrine: Kedarnath, Lord Shiva's Jyotirlinga reached by a 16 km trek or helicopter, or Badrinath, Lord Vishnu's abode, reached by road. Gangotri-only and Yamunotri-only trips are also available.

If your train runs through to Haridwar, start from there: you save a day each way and about ₹2,000 per person compared with the Delhi package.
Choosing the right single dham
A pilgrimage group from Gujarat is often three generations travelling together, which makes the choice of shrine important. Here is a plain comparison.
Badrinath is the most comfortable. The car drives into the town, the temple is a short walk away, and Mana village needs only gentle walking. The drive from Haridwar is long, but it is all on a main highway.
Kedarnath is the most demanding and, for many, the most powerful. The 16 km climb from Gaurikund to 3,583 m takes six to eight hours on foot. Elders can go by pony, palki or IRCTC helicopter shuttle.
Gangotri is reached by road and suits a first Himalayan trip, with two nights in Uttarkashi.
Yamunotri has a short but steep 6 km walk from Janki Chatti; ponies and palkis are available.
If you cannot decide, many families do both Kedarnath and Badrinath in about a week on the Do Dham Yatra.
