Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath sit high in the Garhwal Himalaya, connected by about 1,300 km of mountain road. We plan the hotels, vehicle, registration and helicopter options so your family can focus on darshan.
Tradition takes the dhams clockwise: first Yamunotri, then Gangotri, then Kedarnath and finally Badrinath. The road climbs from Haridwar at about 300 m to shrines above 3,000 m and drops back down to river towns between them, so most days are long drives with a night's rest in the valleys.
Each dham honours a different deity and sits at the source or banks of a sacred river. Two need a trek or pony ride, and two can be reached by road.

Every road package includes hotels on twin or triple sharing, breakfast and dinner, a private vehicle with driver, tolls, parking and driver allowance. Choose a plan, then we adjust days, hotels and vehicle to suit your group.
Prices are per person, starting from, for the 2027 season and are estimates. The final quote depends on hotel category, vehicle, group size and travel dates. Pony, palki, helicopter shuttle tickets and VIP darshan are extra unless a package says otherwise.

Shuttle seats from Phata, Sersi and Guptkashi are sold only on the IRCTC HeliYatra portal after yatra registration. Beware of websites promising "confirmed" shuttle tickets for cash. *Charter prices are estimates and change with the operator and group size.

Most pilgrims reach Haridwar, Rishikesh or Dehradun by train or flight, and the yatra starts there. Pick your city for the best way to reach and a matching package.

Gangotri and Yamunotri usually open on Akshaya Tritiya, in late April or early May. The Kedarnath opening date is announced on Mahashivratri and the Badrinath date on Basant Panchami. In 2026 the dhams opened on 19, 19, 22 and 23 April, and they close for winter in November around Bhai Dooj.
By road, plan 9 nights and 10 days from Haridwar or Rishikesh, or 11 nights and 12 days from Delhi. By helicopter, all four dhams can be covered in 5 nights and 6 days from Dehradun. A Do Dham yatra to Kedarnath and Badrinath takes about 5 to 6 days by road.

Yes. Every pilgrim must register with Uttarakhand Tourism before the yatra. Registration is free and can be done online at registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in or on the Tourist Care Uttarakhand app. We help each traveller in your group complete it.
Shuttle tickets from Phata, Sersi and Guptkashi are sold only on the IRCTC HeliYatra website, and only after yatra registration. Seats open in batches and sell out fast. The Phata round trip was ₹6,500 per person in 2026. We plan the rest of your yatra around your ticket and can include charter helicopter options.
May and June have pleasant days and the longest temple hours, but also the biggest crowds. September and October bring clear mountain views and fewer pilgrims. July and August are the monsoon months, when landslides can block roads for hours or days.
Yes, with planning. Gangotri and Badrinath are reachable by road. For the 6 km Yamunotri trek and the 16 km Kedarnath trek, ponies, palkis and pithoos are available, and Kedarnath can also be reached by helicopter. A medical check-up before travel is strongly advised.
