No trains to catch and no luggage to haul through stations: the car arrives at your gate in Agra, and the same driver brings you home twelve days later with the blessings of all four dhams.
Agra is close enough to Uttarakhand for a road trip from home, and that changes the character of the yatra. Instead of planning trains to Delhi or Haridwar, your family loads the car in Agra on the morning of day 1. The vehicle and its hill driver stay with you through every shrine and bring you back to your door on day 12.
The drive to Haridwar is about 380 km and takes eight to nine hours, either on the expressways skirting Delhi or through Aligarh and Meerut, whichever is clearer that morning. From Haridwar the route is the classic clockwise circuit: Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. Families from Mathura, Vrindavan and Firozabad can be picked up the same way.

Agra Char Dham package cost, 2027 estimates
Because the car comes to Agra and returns there, the price is a little higher than a Delhi start. In exchange you skip train tickets entirely, which for a family of four often makes the total cheaper.

Larger groups pay less per person. A Tempo Traveller for 10–12 people is the most economical, and an Innova Crysta suits six comfortably. Couples travelling alone pay more because the car is shared by two. For a cheaper alternative, travel to Delhi by train and join the Delhi package from ₹24,500, or take a seat on a fixed-departure group from Haridwar at ₹18,500.
Prices are per person on twin or triple sharing, and are 2027 starting estimates. Your quote depends on dates, hotel category and group size.

Which vehicle suits your family?
Sedan (Dzire class): up to 4 adults with modest luggage. Cheapest, but tight on long days.
Ertiga: 5–6 people, a good middle option.
Innova Crysta: the most popular choice for families of 5–6; comfortable seats for elders. See Innova Crysta booking.
All vehicles come with an experienced hill driver who has done the circuit many times. Our drivers avoid mountain roads after dark, so each driving day is planned to end by evening.

Register every traveller on the official Uttarakhand portal or the Tourist Care Uttarakhand app; it is free. See our registration guide.
Pack woollens even in June; check the packing list.
Choose May–June or mid-September to October. The best time guide explains why July–August is risky.
Elders should consult a doctor before the Kedarnath climb, and consider a pony, palki or the IRCTC shuttle helicopter.

Char Dham Yatra from Agra: FAQ
Do you pick up from home in Agra?
Yes. The car collects you from your home or hotel in Agra on day 1 and drops you back on day 12. Mathura, Vrindavan and Firozabad pick-ups are also possible.
What is the Char Dham Yatra price from Agra?
Starting at about ₹26,500 per person in budget hotels for four people, ₹37,500 in deluxe and ₹54,500 in luxury. These are 2027 estimates; your quote depends on dates, hotels and group size.
How long is the drive from Agra to Haridwar?
About 380 km, usually eight to nine hours with stops.
Is it cheaper to take the train to Delhi?
Sometimes, for one or two travellers. For a family of four or more, the home pick-up usually costs about the same once train fares and station transfers are added, and it is far more comfortable.
Can we do only Kedarnath and Badrinath from Agra?
Yes. The Do Dham Yatra takes about a week. Ask us to quote it with Agra pick-up.
Are helicopter tickets for Kedarnath included?
No. Shuttle tickets are sold only on the IRCTC HeliYatra portal after registration. We help you through the process and adjust the plan if you get seats.
Which months are best?
May to June and mid-September to October. In 2027 Gangotri and Yamunotri usually open on Akshaya Tritiya; watch our opening dates page.
