Teen Dham Yatra Package from Hyderabad 2027

Teen Dham, Do Dham or Char Dham from Hyderabad?

Hyderabad is about 1,550 km from Delhi, so every option involves a flight or a long train ride before the yatra starts. Once you have made that journey, it is worth seeing more than one shrine. The table below compares the three road packages most Telugu families consider.

PackageShrinesDays on roadFrom, per person
Do Dham from HaridwarKedarnath, Badrinath5N / 6D₹13,500
Teen Dham from HaridwarGangotri, Kedarnath, Badrinath7N / 8D₹17,500
Char Dham from HaridwarAll four dhams9N / 10D₹21,500

The Teen Dham Yatra adds Gangotri, the temple at the source of the Ganga, for just two more days than the Do Dham. It leaves out only Yamunotri, whose 6 km climb from Janki Chatti is the hardest walk after Kedarnath. For families with elders, that balance works well.

Hyderabad to Dehradun or Delhi

Our recommended route is a morning flight from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport to Dehradun's Jolly Grant, direct or with one stop depending on the season's schedule. The driver meets you at arrivals and the tour starts right away. If Dehradun flights are full or expensive, fly to Delhi and take our Teen Dham from Delhi plan, which adds a night in Haridwar. Train travellers from Secunderabad or Kacheguda usually change at Delhi; the Char Dham by train page explains onward options to Haridwar.

Tips for Hyderabad pilgrims

Hyderabad sits at around 500 m, and within four days of landing you will sleep at Kedarnath, more than 3,500 m higher. The itinerary eases you in with two nights at Uttarkashi (about 1,150 m) and two at Guptkashi before the high night. Walk slowly on the trail, sip water often and skip heavy meals the night before the climb. A month of regular walks at home, ideally including stairs, makes the Kedarnath day much more enjoyable.

  • Pack for cold: thermals, a fleece, a heavy jacket and gloves. See things to carry.
  • Meals are North Indian vegetarian; carry pickles or podi for a taste of home.
  • Register every traveller on the free portal and keep the QR code; registration guide.
  • The 2026 season closes in November; all bookings now are for 2027. Watch the opening dates.
  • Avoid July–August; landslides are common in the monsoon.

Teen Dham from Hyderabad: FAQ

What is the Teen Dham Yatra cost from Hyderabad?

Is Teen Dham better value than Do Dham?

How many days off do I need?

About nine days if flying to Dehradun, ten if flying to Delhi.

Can we take the train from Hyderabad?

Yes, to Delhi in about a day, then join the 8-night Delhi plan. Allow a rest night before the tour.

Is there a helicopter Teen Dham?

Yes, a 4N/5D charter from Dehradun; see Teen Dham helicopter booking.

Can we visit all four dhams?

Yes. See Char Dham from Hyderabad, or Do Dham from Hyderabad for a shorter trip.

Do drivers speak Telugu?

Drivers speak Hindi and some English. Our helpline team can help explain anything during the trip.

When should we book flights from Hyderabad?

After the 2027 temple opening dates are announced in spring and our quote is confirmed. For May and June, book flights and the tour two to three months ahead, as both fill up quickly.
