Char Dham Yatra Package from Aligarh 2027

Why Aligarh pilgrims rarely need Delhi

Look at the map and Aligarh's advantage is obvious. The road north through Bulandshahr, Meerut and Muzaffarnagar reaches Haridwar in about 280 km without touching Delhi at all. That means no capital-city traffic, no station transfers and no luggage on trains. Our car picks you up from home, drives straight to Haridwar and stays with you all the way round the four shrines.

The full circuit visits Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath in the traditional clockwise order, with two nights each at the base towns so nobody is rushed. Families in Hathras, Khair, Atrauli and Bulandshahr can be picked up on the same terms.

Advice before you set out

Choosing the vehicle

A sedan carries four with light bags; an Ertiga takes five or six; an Innova Crysta is the comfortable choice for a family with elders; a Tempo Traveller suits joint families and neighbourhood groups.

Paperwork and health

  • Register every traveller for free on the Uttarakhand portal or app; see our registration guide.
  • Carry Aadhaar or another photo ID for everyone, including children.
  • Elders should see a doctor before the Kedarnath and Yamunotri climbs.
  • Woollens, rain jacket, walking shoes and a torch are essential; full packing list.

Season

The roads are best in May–June and from mid-September to October. Avoid July–August. Check the 2027 opening dates before fixing leave.

What a typical yatra day feels like

Most days start early. Breakfast is served around 6 or 7 am so the car can be on the road before the pilgrim traffic builds up, and the driver plans tea and lunch stops at dhabas he trusts. Mountain roads are slow: 200 km can take eight hours, with stretches of single-lane road where vehicles wait for each other. Arrival at the next hotel is usually by late afternoon, which leaves time for a hot bath, evening aarti and an early dinner.

The two darshan days at Yamunotri and Kedarnath involve walking, while Gangotri and Badrinath are by road. Keep a small backpack with water, dry fruit, a rain jacket and medicines for those days; larger bags stay locked in the car. If anyone in the group feels unwell from the altitude, tell the driver at once — he can slow the pace or change a halt.
