From the Bay of Bengal to the snows of Garhwal. For Vizag families, especially those travelling with parents, the yatra works best with a flight to Delhi and a carefully paced road tour.
Visakhapatnam is about 1,800 km from Delhi by rail, one of the longer journeys any pilgrim makes to the Char Dham. A train from Vizag runs well over a day, so the return trip alone can take four days. That is why most families from the city, and from Vizianagaram, Srikakulam and Anakapalli, now fly to Delhi and save their energy for the mountains.
Our Char Dham Yatra package from Delhi begins at Delhi airport or railway station. Over 11 nights and 12 days a private vehicle and experienced hill driver take you to Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath, with hotels, breakfast and dinner arranged at every stop.
Many of the travellers we plan for from coastal Andhra are parents in their sixties, sent by children working elsewhere. This page therefore spends extra time on comfort, health and the choice between trekking, pony, palki and helicopter at Kedarnath and Yamunotri.

What is the Char Dham Yatra package cost from Visakhapatnam?
The road tour from Delhi starts at about ₹24,500 per person (four travellers, budget hotels), ₹35,500 on deluxe and ₹53,500 on luxury. Flights or trains from Vizag are extra. These are 2027 estimates.
How many days do we need from Vizag?
About 12–13 days if you fly, or around 16 days by train both ways.
Is there a direct flight from Visakhapatnam to Delhi?
Direct flights are usually available, and other options connect via Hyderabad or another hub. Schedules change by season, so check when booking and share your arrival time with us.
Can my parents in their sixties do the Char Dham?
Yes, with planning. Gangotri and Badrinath are by road; Yamunotri and Kedarnath can be done by pony, palki or, for Kedarnath, IRCTC helicopter shuttle. A doctor's clearance is advised.
Do you sell Kedarnath helicopter tickets?
No. They are sold only on IRCTC HeliYatra after registration. We help with preparation and plan around the slot.
Can someone from your team accompany my parents?
The driver stays with the group throughout, and our support line is available by phone and WhatsApp. For extra company, a seat on a fixed departure group tour is another option.
