Gangotri Yamunotri Yatra Package from Hyderabad 2027
Land at Dehradun, and the Yamuna valley is just one afternoon's drive away. A compact five-night plan for Hyderabad pilgrims who would rather spend their days in the hills than on the highway.
Hyderabad and Secunderabad send a steady stream of pilgrims to Uttarakhand every summer, many of them families making the trip with parents. For a city roughly 1,550 km from Delhi, the smartest route is often by air all the way to Dehradun, whose Jolly Grant airport sits at the foot of the hills. From there, the road to Yamunotri goes via Mussoorie and Barkot, and Gangotri follows via Uttarkashi. The whole circuit takes five nights, with no time lost on the plains.
If a Dehradun flight does not suit your dates, flying to Delhi works just as well: we add a night in Haridwar and make it six nights. Either way, the hills part of the journey is identical, with one 6 km walk to Yamunotri and a road all the way to Gangotri.

Nonstop flights from Rajiv Gandhi International to Delhi are frequent all day. Flights to Dehradun are fewer and generally connect through another city, but they save you the six-hour Delhi–Haridwar drive at each end. Trains from Hyderabad to Delhi run daily and take about a day; a few continue towards Dehradun on some days.
Book a flight that lands in Dehradun before 1 pm. That leaves time to drive to Barkot in daylight on day 1. With a later arrival, we suggest a first night in Dehradun or Rishikesh instead.
Land-tour prices are per person for four people sharing a vehicle and twin or triple rooms. The Dehradun start is priced in line with the Haridwar package, as the driving distance is similar.
