- Your own vehicle and driver
- Flexible timings
- Station pick-up in Delhi
From the city of Guru Gorakhnath to the shrines of the high Himalaya. One night on the train to Delhi, then twelve days of yatra with everything on the ground arranged.
Gorakhpur is a pilgrimage city in its own right, and many families here, and from nearby Deoria, Kushinagar, Basti and Maharajganj, keep the Char Dham Yatra as the great journey of a lifetime. The four shrines of Uttarakhand honour Goddess Yamuna, Goddess Ganga, Lord Shiva at Kedarnath and Lord Vishnu at Badrinath, and together they make a circuit of about 1,250 km of mountain road from Haridwar.
Gorakhpur is roughly 780 km from Delhi and about 700 km from Haridwar. The comfortable plan is an overnight train to Delhi, or a short flight from Gorakhpur airport. We pick you up on arrival and run the Char Dham package from Delhi: 11 nights and 12 days with hotels, breakfast, dinner and a private vehicle.

Gorakhpur Junction has many long-distance trains to Delhi. Choose one that arrives in the morning, so that Day 1's drive to Haridwar is done by evening. If you find a convenient train that runs towards Haridwar, take our shorter Char Dham package from Haridwar (9N/10D, from ₹21,500). For flights, read Char Dham Yatra by air.
The rates below are per person for four people sharing one car and twin or triple rooms. Your train or flight to Delhi is extra. Joint families of ten to twelve travel cheaper in a Tempo Traveller.
