Char Dham Yatra Package from Nashik 2027

From one Kumbh city to another

Few cities understand pilgrimage the way Nashik does. Every twelve years the Kumbh Mela fills Ramkund and Trimbakeshwar, and Haridwar on the Ganga hosts the same great gathering. Many Nashik families who have taken darshan at Trimbakeshwar, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, feel drawn to Kedarnath, the highest of them, and to the full circuit of four Himalayan shrines.

The distance is the only hurdle. Nashik to Delhi is roughly 1,250 km by rail, and the hill roads start another 230 km beyond. We suggest a simple split: you make the long journey north by train or air, and our road tour takes over at Haridwar for nine nights. If you would rather be met in Delhi, the Char Dham package from Delhi adds the two highway days.

How to reach Haridwar from Nashik

Nashik Road station lies on the busy Mumbai–Bhusawal main line, so many north-bound trains stop there on their way to Delhi. From Delhi, frequent trains and buses reach Haridwar in five to seven hours. A few trains from the Mumbai side run through towards Haridwar or Dehradun, which saves a change; check the current timetable on IRCTC when you plan.

  1. By train via Delhi. Nashik Road to Delhi overnight and a day, then an onward train or our road transfer to Haridwar.
  2. By air. Fly to Delhi from Mumbai (about 170 km from Nashik) or from Nashik's own airport when flights operate, then connect to Dehradun or come by road.
  3. Via Dehradun. A connecting flight lands at Jolly Grant, about 35 km from Haridwar and Rishikesh; we can pick you up there.

Our separate guides to Char Dham by train and Char Dham by air compare these routes in more detail. Whatever you choose, share your arrival time and the vehicle will be planned around it.

Char Dham package price for Nashik pilgrims

Most Nashik groups travel as a joint family or a temple mandal, so the per-person price depends a lot on how many share the vehicle. The table shows the Haridwar budget package by group size.

Advice for Nashik travellers

  • Food: simple vegetarian thalis are available everywhere; Maharashtrian dishes are rare, so a small box of chivda or thepla-style snacks helps on long drives.
  • Weather: Nashik's mild climate does not prepare you for 3,500 m. Carry thermals, a heavy jacket and a rain shell.
  • Walking: the Yamunotri and Kedarnath trails are steep; practise walking 5–8 km a day for a month before you go.
  • Registration: free and compulsory for every pilgrim; follow our registration guide.
  • Helicopter: Kedarnath shuttle seats are sold only on IRCTC HeliYatra; see IRCTC helicopter booking.
  • Rules on the route: read the do's and don'ts before you leave.

May–June and mid-September to October are the best windows; skip July and August because of monsoon landslides. Details are on our best time to visit page.

Char Dham Yatra from Nashik: FAQ

How many days does the Char Dham Yatra take from Nashik?

Allow about 13–14 days door to door: roughly two days to reach Haridwar, 10 days on the road tour and the journey home. Starting from Delhi instead, the tour itself is 12 days.

What is the package cost from Nashik?

The Haridwar road tour starts at about ₹21,500 per person for four people on budget hotels; from Delhi it starts at ₹24,500. Train or flight from Nashik is extra. These are 2027 estimates.

Is there a direct train from Nashik to Haridwar?

Most travellers change at Delhi. A few long-distance trains from the Mumbai side run through towards Haridwar or Dehradun on certain days; check IRCTC for the current schedule.

Can a temple group from Nashik travel together?

Yes. Groups of 10–12 travel in a Tempo Traveller at about ₹19,500 per person on budget hotels. Larger groups can be split across vehicles or moved by bus on request.

Is the Kedarnath trek harder than Trimbakeshwar's Brahmagiri climb?

Yes, considerably. The Kedarnath path is 16 km and rises to 3,583 m, where the air is thin. Ponies, palkis and helicopter shuttles are options for those who cannot walk it.

Can I do only Kedarnath and Badrinath?

Yes. The Do Dham Yatra covers both in 5 nights from Haridwar, starting around ₹13,500 per person.

Do you sell Kedarnath helicopter tickets?

No. Shuttle tickets are sold only on the IRCTC HeliYatra portal after registration. We plan your trip around the ticket you get, and arrange private charters separately.
