Kedarnath from Chandigarh
- Home pick-up and drop
- Guptkashi and Kedarnath nights
- Trek, pony or shuttle
No train, no flight. From the Tricity, the car comes to your gate and drives you to Haridwar and up to Kedarnath or Badrinath in five days.
Chandigarh is one of the few big cities close enough to the Garhwal Himalaya that the whole yatra can be done by road from home. Haridwar is roughly 200 km away, about five hours via Ambala, Yamunanagar and Roorkee, so the first day is easy and you still have time for the evening Ganga aarti.
Our Ek Dham Yatra from Chandigarh collects you from your house in Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula or Zirakpur, takes you to the dham of your choice and brings you back to the same door. Families from Ambala, Ludhiana or Patiala can be picked up on the way. You choose between Kedarnath, with its trek and Jyotirlinga, and Badrinath, which you can reach without walking.
Why not drive straight to Guptkashi or Joshimath on day one? Because the full distance is over 400 km, and the second half is on narrow hill roads where driving after dark is unsafe and often restricted. Breaking the journey in Haridwar keeps every mountain section in daylight, gives the driver proper rest, and costs you only one extra night. It also means you begin the climb fresh rather than stiff from ten hours in a car.
The standard single-dham packages are priced from Haridwar and from Delhi. A Chandigarh pick-up follows the Delhi-style 4N/5D plan and costs about the same as the Delhi package, since the distance to Haridwar is similar. Your written quote gives the exact figure for your group and vehicle.
